What to Expect
All are welcome to worship with us at anytime...consider yourself invited!
When you arrive, you will be greeted by our ushers as you enter and they can help with any questions. Feel free to grab a coffee and any goodies/pastries that are most often present. Our Sunday morning service is typically a one hour and fifteen minute service. You can wear whatever you are comfortable in. We love blue jeans! Our service typically starts with a short video, personal greeting, a time of worship with contemporary music, announcements, offering, message and closing. Nursery is available beginning 15 minutes before the service starts for infants - age 3. Kid ages 4 through 5th grade will begin the service with the adults and be dismissed after worship for RealKids Church. Your kids will be will taken care of and will have a blast while learning Biblical truths.
Worship.
Worship is powerful and important in the life of a follower of Jesus Christ. The Bible is full of commands to worship the Lord and give Him praise. Our worship is mostly contemporary with some traditional songs/hymns. We have a full band for some services and other times we have a simplified worship with just piano or even using tracks. Worship is not about style or performance, but about a time to put our focus on the Lord and honor the greatness of God. We often leave time in our worship for personal prayer which is for you to connect with Lord using your own words and prayers.
The Word.
Each Sunday we give a message based on the Bible that is about 20 minutes or so. We unashamedly believe the Bible is foundational truth for Christian living. Our desire is that you leave feeling encouraged and equipped, with a hunger to know God more and seek Him further in your personal life. We encourage you to read the Word daily to further grow in your relationship with God and His plans for your life.
Real People
We are a gathering of real people with individual strengths and weaknesses. Anyone is welcome in our doors anytime. It is important as Christians that we develop authentic relationships with other believers to encourage each other, pray together and walk through life together. We all have weakness and it is through the grace of God that we can grow together in our faith.
Serving A Real God
God desires to work in the lives of His believers today just as He did in the scriptures. We believe living your Christian faith isn’t about obligations and judgement; rather, it’s about a deep authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing Him daily. We hope that our worship services are a time for you to connect with God, hear from God and allow Him to touch your life in a real way so that you can live your Christian faith in a personal way with confidence, joy and peace despite circumstances life sends your way.
Making a REal Difference
As followers of Jesus, its our calling to make a difference in our homes, communities and our world. We support missions around the world, but also strive to make a difference by serving others as Jesus did in our lives and in our communities. Since Jesus set the example for us, we encourage everyone to get involved in serving.

Our Story
Goodland Community Church was founded in 2011 by Pastor Zach & Michelle McNeil. While Zach was employed as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Zach & Michelle moved to Goodland (Michelle’s hometown) in 2011 and immediately felt God called them to start a ministry there.
Goodland Community Church began in Zach and Michelle’s home in September 2011. After the first week, they were offered the opportunity to use the Goodland church that was not in use during that time. Miraculously, the first few years of Goodland Community Church saw tremendous growth and community support. Goodland Community Church was able to purchase the church building in 2015.
Since its beginning, Goodland Community Church has had a vision for being Real People. Serving a Real God. Making a Real Difference. They believe community is important in the life of the believer as well as making a difference in our local community and our world.
In 2016, the leadership team at Goodland Community Church felt the Lord calling them to expand the ministry. Subsequently, in September 2016 Warba Community Church became a reality, exactly 5 years after opening GCC. Warba Community Church met at the local school for the first year and a half with the leadership team setting up and tearing down each Sunday. In 2018 the church had a unique opportunity to purchase a closed-down gas station along Hwy 2 in Warba. After much prayer and miraculous provision from the Lord, the future home of Warba Community Church was purchased in March 2018 and renovations began. The Warba Campus had its grand opening in their new building in September 2018.
During this season, the church needed to adapt its name to accommodate its new function as a multi-campus church. Therefore, it became Community Church—Goodland | Warba. Community Church has a desire to make a difference in rural communities and they believe every community deserves a life-giving church.
Community Church Goodland & Warba is a true community church with believers coming from various denominational backgrounds. All are welcome to worship with us under the common belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Goodland & Warba Community Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God.
